Originalmente tinha uso misto, com com\u00e9rcio localizado na parte voltada para a rua e uso residencial no interior, evidenciando os modos de vida locais. Tem coberta em estrutura de madeira e telha de barro, em duas \u00e1guas, apoiadas nas paredes das fachadas frontal e dos fundos, de dimens\u00f5es mais robustas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 0.75em; line-height: 14px; color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: justify;\"><br style=\"font-family: Arial;\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 0.75em; line-height: 14px; color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: justify;\">No ano de 1949 foram feitas reformas na casa, pelo ent\u00e3o propriet\u00e1rio, Sr. Lu\u00eds Costa, a fim de se adequar aos padr\u00f5es de conforto ent\u00e3o vigentes, modificando os espa\u00e7os com a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de quartos e banheiros . No ano de 1953 foram criadas platibandas nas duas fachadas de frente e de fundos, que acabaram por encobrir o telhado original.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 0.75em; line-height: 14px; color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: justify;\"><br style=\"font-family: Arial;\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 0.75em; line-height: 14px; color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: justify;\">A edifica\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 implantada no limite da rua, em terreno de duas frentes, sem recuo frontal, conforme era uso na \u00e9poca. Na fachada principal, voltada para a rua, s\u00e3o cinco v\u00e3os com portas de madeira maci\u00e7a. A fachada posterior dava para o terreno que margeava o rio. Junto \u00e0 fachada laterakl direita havia um p\u00e1tio de uso comum \u00e0 resid\u00eancia vizinha, que era utilizado como passagem de carro\u00e7as ou animais, como vacas leiteiras, criadas para o consumo da fam\u00edlia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 0.75em; line-height: 14px; color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: justify;\"><br style=\"font-family: Arial;\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"font-family: Arial; margin: 0px 0px 0.75em; line-height: 14px; color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: justify;\">De originais, a casa possui apenas as portas. N\u00e3o apresenta janelas em suas fachadas, \u00e0 exce\u00e7\u00e3o da do s\u00f3t\u00e3o, com vista para o rio. O acesso ao s\u00f3t\u00e3o era feito por escada de madeira, de v\u00e3o reto, com detalhes trabalhados em suas linhas de apoio e corrim\u00e3o.
