Foi o que sinalizou o secret\u00e1rio da Sa\u00fade do Cear\u00e1, Henrique Javi, \u00e0 professora Sylvia Lemos Hinrichsen, coordenadora do projeto na Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), durante visita t\u00e9cnica de professores e pesquisadores da JHU ao Cear\u00e1. Nesta quinta-feira, 24 de agosto, a equipe de pesquisadores da JHU esteve na Secretaria da Sa\u00fade do Cear\u00e1 (Sesa).<\/p>\n<p>Durante visita t\u00e9cnica \u00e0 Sesa, a equipe conheceu o cen\u00e1rio epidemiol\u00f3gico das arboviroses no Estado e visitou o laborat\u00f3rio de entomologia do N\u00facleo de Controle de Vetores (NUVET), antes de se reunir com o secret\u00e1rio Henrique Javi. Nesta sexta-feira, 25, os pesquisadores estar\u00e3o em Cascavel, onde conhecer\u00e3o as estrat\u00e9gias de combate ao Aedes aegypti desenvolvidas no Cear\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-9577\" style=\"width: 555px;height: 274px\" src=\"https:\/\/ww16.ce.gov.br\/saude\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2017\/08\/banner_site_visita_universidade_EUA_03.png\" alt=\"alt\" width=\"555\" height=\"274\" \/><\/p>\n<p>O sistema de vigil\u00e2ncia automatizada de mosquitos facilita o gerenciamento de informa\u00e7\u00f5es acerca de \u00e1reas end\u00eamicas do Aedes Aegypti, disponibilizando o n\u00edvel de infesta\u00e7\u00e3o em tempo real. Para se integrar \u00e0 pesquisa, a Secretaria da Sa\u00fade do Cear\u00e1 dever\u00e1 endossar carta de anu\u00eancia do projeto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Projeto internacional<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O VectorWEB, com financiamento da USAID-EUA, objetiva implantar um sistema de vigil\u00e2ncia em \u00e1reas com infesta\u00e7\u00e3o de mosquitos que possibilita o estudo e monitoramento da densidade de vetores em tempo real, contribuindo para o controle de doen\u00e7as transmitidas por esses insetos. A fase atual do trabalho contempla o desenvolvimento de um aplicativo para smartphone capaz de agrupar imagens, informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre incid\u00eancia de mosquitos, al\u00e9m de emiss\u00e3o de gr\u00e1ficos, taxas e indicadores que ser\u00e3o armazenadas em nuvem e poder\u00e3o ser acessados por \u00f3rg\u00e3os governamentais de sa\u00fade e pela popula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-9578\" style=\"width: 555px;height: 274px\" src=\"https:\/\/ww16.ce.gov.br\/saude\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2017\/08\/banner_site_visita_universidade_EUA_01.png\" alt=\"alt\" width=\"555\" height=\"274\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Os pesquisadores norte-americanos, liderados pelo Diretor do Programa de Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o do Centro de Inova\u00e7\u00e3o e Design de Bioengenharia da JHU, Soumyadipta Acharya, desenvolveram armadilha equipada com sensores e c\u00e2mera que contam, fotografam e identificam a esp\u00e9cie do mosquito capturado. As informa\u00e7\u00f5es lan\u00e7adas em nuvem geram mapeamento entomol\u00f3gico e gr\u00e1ficos de tend\u00eancias de infesta\u00e7\u00e3o.
